What our customers say
We loved the Maddox St. Flat and look forward to staying there in the future. The driver was there on our arrival with a sign with our name. What a welcome site after a long plane trip! Our hostess was waiting for us and did a great job showing us the features of the flat. Mayfair was a wonderful location and we used the oxford and oxford circus tube stations often. Browns was a wonderful restaurant and is right across the street. We loved walking to Hyde park and to Green Park. Waitrose was a great grocery store and is very convenient.
We toured Westminster Abby, St. Pauls, tower of London, Churchill war rooms, the eye, fat tire royal bike tour, Harry Potter walking tour, Harry Potter studios, did a fat tire changing of the guard tour, the banqueting house, Shakespeare’s globe theater, chelsea flower show, houses of parliament tour, saw a west end musical, had a hight tea at the Ritz and relaxed.
The driver back to the airport was on time and very courteous.
In short, the flat on Maddox was a great experience and we hope to return in the future.
Our stay in London was wonderful. The flat was very comfortable. The location of the flat was fantastic. We appreciated having a kitchen and had breakfast in the flat each morning before heading out for the day. Everything in the flat was in good working order. We used the hairdryer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The apartment was very clean and well maintained.
We loved London. We plan to visit again because there is so much to see and do. We spent one day in Bath. We really enjoyed Bath. We toured the Tower of London, the National Gallery, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square and the London Eye. We had afternoon tea which was lovely. I feel like we needed two more weeks in London. We ran out of time.
The flat was exactly like the photos. We will recommend the London Connection to friends. We appreciated the excellent service.
My wife and I have made London our ‘go to’ favorite vacation spot, but we were there with two wonderful folks visiting for their first time. We hit many A-list repeats; Westminster, the Tower, Windsor, etc., but we also tried a number of ‘news,’ the Inns of Court, Sir John Soane museum… And, of course, many fine shops, restaurants, and pubs…
The flat was exceptional. As several visitors have noted, its location was excellent, a little closer to Regent Park and to Soho than our previous Mayfair stays, which was both very convenient and offered us a new neighborhood. And well maintained! Everything worked; the flat was well supplied, and the furnishings were both well-cared for and comfortable. A great plus; Ricardo was both informative upon our arrival and attentive to the flat’s needs, addressing minor issues instantly (a picture needed to be re-hung and a bulb replaced), and addressing our requests with quick, personable service. Very hard to beat. Thank you all much.
We only had 10 days and tried to fit in as much as possible.
We saw Jesus Christ superstar at the open air theater, it was great.
We did all the tourist places – British museum, Victoria and Albert museum, Churchill museum, Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Kennington Palace, Windsor castle, Bath, Stonehenge, Cambridge, Harrods, Big Ben. I’m sure there’s something I’ve left out, but you get the picture.
I could have spent a month in London to see everything I wanted to see. Hopefully we’ll return someday.
We enjoyed the location of our flat, and all in all had a wonderful trip!
Our time spent in London was great – as usual?. The flat and location was just amazing, nothing to complain about!
We found the walk to theaters comfortable, and important to us, the quiet neighborhood in the evening perfect for sleeping. I must comment on the wonderful LARGE bath tub; I usually take showers, but this tub made me a bath convert.
Thank you for arranging very fine driver in each direction – the pick up and drop off were timely and comfortable.
The flat was great. Having such a central location was important and the flat was very comfortable. Next time in London we will contact your service.
We had a fantastic trip to London and had a wonderful stay at the Maddox St flat. It was a perfect location and so close to the tube, restaurants, and parks. Everything went incredibly smoothly. Thanks!
They were all very professional, friendly and responsive.
We absolutely loved the location of your Grosvenor property! Being so close to Regent street and SOHO was perfect for us! Our eldest son had an internship in London this summer and was lodged at the FSU Study Center near the British Museum so we were close to him as well. We fell in love with the Wine Workshop and Kitchen and visited it twice. We did heed two of your restaurant suggestions, Mayfair Pizza was great and The German Gymnasium, not so much.
The property itself was more than ample for our needs. I must confess, that I did not retain much on the verbal instructions on how to run the appliances ,as I was discombobulated from the flight, so maybe documented instructions would be a nice addition. ( Maybe they were provided and I just didn’t realize, as I stated I was not all that focused).. Anyhow, it really didn’t matter since we were not there long enough to really burrow in.
We did “struggle” with the shower controls and Cristina bravely sacrificed a pair of shoes to help us. 3 knobs just really stump us jet lagged Americans. The AC cranked and the master bed was super comfy!
So all and all, it was a home run. If we are ever in a position to visit again, we would definitely utilize the London Connection again.
Thanks for making our trip so special!
We had fun and by luck bought tickets and saw Hamilton at Victoria Palace Theater!
Great location, great condition, Christina was spot on time meeting us and showing us around the flat. We never had any issues (everything worked just fine), so can't comment on that part of the service, but trust it is also great. Highly recommended
We absolutely loved the flat, it was in a perfect location (centrally located and close to both of our friends in London) and we were so stunned how comfortable it was…it almost felt like home. Loved how private the flat was and that even though we were in the heart of the city it was so nice to have two secure doors to the flat and what fun to have a beautiful store on the first floor. I think the only thing that was hard was how far grocery stores were from the flat but it was so nice to have such a fabulous kitchen, not that we cooked that much but had breakfast and appetizers most evenings – one night we had a relaxing pasta dinner. The bathrooms were fabulous and the beautiful tub was my absolute dream tub and amazing bathing experience.
In fact it turned out to be better than we expected. Plenty of space, great shower with lots of hot water, Very comfortable beds and of coarse the location was perfect with bus and tube a short walk away. After spending very active days touring the city we always felt very secure coming home. I would give a 10 plus for everything. I would highly recommend this apt as well as doing business with you to any of my friends and family.
