Luxury Chalet Alpin-Kitzbuhel

Modern style and stunning Alpine views come together at the palatial Chalet Alpin. Set in a picturesque valley in Aurach, just outside downtown Kitzbuhel, this luxury Austrian Alps vacation rental affords easy access to both the area’s world-renowned ski slopes and the charming medieval village center. Magazine-worthy interiors, five-star amenities and eight suite-style bedrooms make this a property fit for a royal family.

Chalet Alpin features a terrace and balcony with mountain views, a mudroom for snowy gear and an elevator to whisk you between rooms. For a quiet evening in, serve drinks from the wet bar or wine cellar in the media room or flip on the professional-caliber sound system and light a fire in the fireplace. But the villa’s showstopper is the private spa, complete with heated indoor swimming pool, glass-walled sauna and steam room, and even a snow maker, letting you alternate between hot and cold therapies.

Ski holidays in the Alps conjure up visions of snug lodges with peaked roofs and plenty of wood paneling. Chalet Alpin takes its inspiration from that cozy legacy and adds thoughtful modern touches, such as geometric rugs atop wood floors, metal-edged glass doors between rooms, thick cable-knit area rugs and statement-making light fixtures. Catch up on the facing sofas in the living room, sneak away to the lounge to read or nap, and gather on the leather banquette or in the fully equipped eat-in kitchen for a casual meal. For special occasions, there’s a formal dining room with an elliptical table and playful, plush blue chairs.

The chalet’s main house has two master suites with king beds, lounge areas and balconies, one bedroom with a king bed and terrace, and two bedrooms with queen beds and terraces; all have en-suite bathrooms. The guest house, which could be used as a private space for a second family or even a retreat for a honeymoon-style getaway, has three bedrooms with king beds and en-suite bathrooms.

Known for its quaint historic architecture and world-class slopes, Kitzbuhel deserves its status as an iconic ski resort. Chalet Alpin puts you at the heart of the region, just a short drive from three lifts, the village center and the train station. If you’re visiting during warmer weather, you can still enjoy the mountain scenery from one of the nearby golf courses, see a tennis tournament, or hike or swim around the Alpine lakes.
