This beautiful exclusive large Houseboat is beautifully decorated and nicely located at one of the best locations in this part of Amsterdam and 5 minutes' walk from the city center near the famous area "The Jordaan". The Houseboat is large with a living room with a large sofa and flat screen TV. There is a separate large bedroom with a fully equipped bathroom. There is a large separate dining table for up to 4 persons adjacent to the kitchen and a fully equiped kitchen. This Houseboat is suitable for max. 2 persons (= 2 sleeping places).
There is a king-size bed in the master bedroom and second bedroom. This exclusive Houseboat has two (2) fully equipped bathrooms, each with a shower, washbasin and toilet.
NOTE: Smoking only allowed on the outdoor patio.
Houseboat-Apartment is docked in the famous "Jordaan district". Many attractions are nearby.
Here are some examples: the Anne Frank House, the Red Light district, the Royal Palace, the famous "Nine Streets", the Dam Square, the Van Gogh Museum, the "Wester Market" on Monday, the market at the Lindengracht, the Westerpark and much more.
The weekly market is around the corner every Monday and Saturday. It's a great environment, where many things are to see!
The surrounding area is beautiful with old canal houses, old bridges and cobbled streets.
It is a joy to walk through the narrow streets along the canals and enjoy the beauty of this beautiful old part of the city.
At only 5 minutes' walk you will find a quiet park where you can enjoy and enjoy the channels by yourself.

12 Sep 2019We stayed on your houseboat for 4 nights. This was our first time on a houseboat and we would definately stay again. The wine and beer was a nice welcoming touch. Diana was very helpful in her explanation of the area and the houseboat. The location of the houseboat was perfect for everything that we did. We found some great restaurants near us. The open air market on Saturday was great to walk thru. The main living area and kitchen was wonderful. The houseboat was fully stocked with most anything that you might need. The master bedroom bed's mattress dipped to the middle and the smaller bedroom did not seem like it was ready for guests. The hall bathroom was not super clean. Other than the bedrooms being average, the rest of the place was exceptional. I would recommend this place highly for one couple, not two. We enjoyed our time in Amsterdam and on the houseboat.

09 Apr 2019From the time you walk into the houseboat you know that you have made the right choice. It is truly beautiful and comfortable it has everything you need for a self-catering vacation. We received a nice bottle of wine which we enjoyed on the deck whiling watching the boats pass by. This houseboat also has plenty of closet space and large principle rooms with large windows overlooking the canal. Great views. Location is easy walking to the sights of Amsterdam old town less than 10 minute walk the furthest is the museum quarter which is 25 minutes, but the way to truly see a city is by foot. Grocery store is a couple of streets away, nice restaurants and cafes are all around you.

20 Feb 2019I love this home. My reservations about staying on a houseboat in January proved unnecessary. The houseboat is warm, inviting, cozy, and a beautiful location. The neighborhood is charming and the furnishings as lovely as they appear in the pictures. Diana was gracious, acquainting me with the property. The kitchen is well appointed and met all my cooking needs. Thank you for the bottle of wine. And the bed is extremely comfortable and very high quality. Deceptively soft, in that I worried about my bad back but the quality of the mattress was extremely high. I am thinking of investing in one back home. The swans coming up to the window to welcome me was a nice touch. :). I would highly recommend staying here. I can’t wait to return. Thank you so much for sharing your very special home.
